1. Is There any additional assembly cost? Absolutely not. Professional installation is included in the price. 2. What types of building material do you use? Since the owner (Shane) is a former home builder, we constuct our buildings with the same materials as a typical home. 40 yr treated 4X4 runners 40 yr treated exterior floor joists 16" O.C. 3/4" flooring 2X4 wall studs 16" O.C. with a double top plate Double barn doors with a five ft. wide opening Double-pane insulated 2030 window 30 yr pre-primed SMARTSIDE siding Rafters on 24" centers with a ridge 1/2" roof decking 25 yr composite shingles 3. How does the ordering process work? Just call 830-765-8065 to order your new building and we will give you the next available construction date, which is usually within a few days. 4. How long does the construction of my new building usually take? Average construction time is 2 1/2 days. 12' and wider buildings may take a little longer. 5. Do I need to be home? No, all you need to do is show the installer where on your property the building is to be built and the placement of the windows, doors, ect. 6. Can my building be customized? Absolutely. We do not use a pre-fabricated kit, so we can do just about anything. Be sure to communicate all of your needs and intended use to your sales associate to avoid any miscommunication or construction delays. 7. Will I need a building permit? Generally, a building permit is not required for one of our buildings, however, you should check with your local city government and your homeowner's association to be sure. Building permits are the sole responsibility of the homeowner. 8. What is your standard warranty? All Shane's Shacks are covered from top to bottom for FIVE YEARS against materials or workmanship defects at no additional cost to you.
